The suite was luxurious, had an electric kettle, an iron/ironing board and a work desk. Had a well presented meal in the garden. The setting of hotel was stunning and marvellous, out to the sea front.

Reasonably clean accommodation, very nice and pleasant staff. Nice hot and delicious breakfast with freshly sqeezed orange juice and amazing location. Location near to beautiful gardens with many short walks on the doorstep, and the church. Also, right on the southern Connemara coastline;)))

Everything was fabulous, including helpful staff who clearly benefited from excellent management. The location of this hotel just off beautiful gardens nestled away off the coast of Connemara, the bay which is simply beautiful, noone elese around, abit of paradise and the restaurant and breakfast was beautiful and magnificent.

We were delighted with the beautiful gardens and scenic views surrounding the hotel. The Victorian charm of the property added to the overall ambiance. The dining experience in the antique-filled dining room was exceptional, and the glass conservatory was a delightful place to enjoy a meal. Despite some minor issues with the room, we found it comfortable and well-decorated. The staff was attentive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful retreat in the countryside.

I liked the turn down service, the friendliness of the staff especially afternoon tea and offering to bring tea or coffee to the bar after the evening meal. The surroundings and gardens were very well kept and luxurious as well as the rooms.

The milk was off in the room and the television remote control didn't work properly.

For the price we paid, we got great value and the room was really comfortable. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful gardens and it was a great base for exploring Connemara. The staff at Cashel House were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast experience could have been better, with the choice and quality of food needing improvement.

Historical charm, beautiful gardens, delicious breakfast, welcoming staff, secluded location, afternoon tea by the fire.

    Nothing at all.

Like stepping back in time, there is a wonderful feeling of being in a place where you could sit back and let life pass by and its for real. Everything is geared towards that, while at the same time there are facilities to be found (eg kids room, shelves of books everywhere, boardgames, and a computer!). Its surrounded outside by the sound of running water, and wonderful gardens, albeit somewhat "natural" in its keep, much to my liking. Inside, a treasure trove of enchanting items, furniture to die for, paintings reminding you that a wealth of life has passed before you and clean, comfortable rooms that are just perfection with comfort and cleanliness without being too plush. A definate return is on the cards.

We had an unexpected upgrade to a stunning suite in the oldest part of the hotel. The room had a high ceiling and an enormous bed. The hotel staff was friendly, and the food was the best we have ever had. We enjoyed the live harp music during our dinner, and the surrounding grounds were beautiful.

    Everything was spot on.
